«…In all cases, prefer applications that provide local transcription, i.e. without going through the Cloud, such as Chuchotis, proposed on the Mac by Denis Delbecq, a former researcher and journalist at the Swiss daily Le Temps, a colleague who is very attentive to confidentiality and the protection of sensitive information…», France Info, 2 juin 2024

Very good ★★★★
Version 1.5 –  Nov., th 2024

«A few details after a few months of use. First of all, thanks for adding the feature that lets you drag an audio file directly from Apple’s Dictaphone app into Chuchotis, it’s perfect. However, I’d like to draw your attention to a recurring problem: although the app recognizes lots of languages, it systematically struggles to identify the Toulouse accent, which it always mistakes for nynorsk (sic!) at 55% and which it can’t transcribe. Any help on this would be most welcome. Thank you in advance.»

Does the job! ★★★★★
Version 1.0 – April, 22th 2024

«The software has saved me a lot of time in transcribing presentations and webinars. I had the opportunity to contact the developer, who replied promptly. I highly recommend Chuchotis for its reliability and autonomy. Well done to the developer!»

• About Qwaz Audio

A new dictaphone application with many useful functions
Version 1.21 – 16 avril 2015

«(… ) Qwaz Audio isn’t cheap, but I’ve never seen such a richly endowed recorder on the iPhone. If you frequently record interviews or conversations, you should invest 25 euros. For this sum, you’ll get a very good tape recorder with features you could only dream of in any conventional dictaphone. And if you’re not sure, you can always try out the Lite version, which is offered alongside the full version on the App Store.»
Sebastian Brinkmann, on journalisten-Tools.de, a blog dedicated on journalist tools.

A real time-saver for transcription
Version 1.21ß – 3 mars 2015

«I was lucky enough to test a preview of Leonardo Labs’ Qwaz Audio application. This software is extremely useful for transcribing recordings, thanks to its ability to slow them down to my typing speed. What’s more, even when I’m forced to pause, the adjustable “rewind to pause” function saves time by avoiding manual rewinding. The environment is intuitive, the explanations understandable and the use very simple..»
